Just browsed around the city today to enjoy our final day. Stopped by a Church from 1620 and lit a candle for a special friend having surgery. Went back to the Maria Luisa Park since it was so nice in the afternoon. Stopped and had a STRONG drink at an outside pavilion. Also visited the Casa de Pilates, a private mansion built all with tiles. Amazing amount of tiled walls and such a variety. Ok, off to pack before the flight back to LA early in the morning. Now,......where to next??????
Got up early this morning, took the city bus to the Seville train station and took a 1 1/4 hour train ride to Cordoba. You'll see some sights here from pictures we took walking around the city as well as the Callehora Tower but most importantly was the visit to the Mezquita, the 1000+ year old mosque turned into a Cathedral. It is a mix of both styles and you can even see some foundations from another church on the site prior to the 800's. On e more day before heading back to reality in the US.
