Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver, British Columbia to Alaska

Flew to Vancouver on Aug 29, 2015. Spent 2 nights visiting with great friends Marilyn & Rosie (and the pups) that we had met on a previous cruise. They drove us to Whistler on Aug 30 where we visited the Olympic Village. On Aug 31 we boarded the NCL Sun cruise ship at the Vancouver cruiseport for a 7 night one-way cruise to Alaska. Stopped in Ketchikan on Sept 2- spent day walking around the port/shopping. Juneau on Sept 3- walked around the city and took shuttle to Mendenhall Glacier where we walked to the glacier and the waterfall. Next on Sept 4 we visited Skagway where we took a 6 hour tour up through the mountains, back into Canada through the Yukon Territory. The next 2 days back on the ship and visiting Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier.  We got off the ship in Seward Alaska at 8am on Sept 7, rented a car, then spent the day driving the beautiful 125 mile trip from Seward to Anchorage. Spent a few hours at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Flew out of Anchorage at midnight back to LA.

Pictures are pretty much in order of the trip. Double click on them to enlarge.
