Just arrived in Rome a few hours ago, checked into our apartment for 10 nights, unpacked and a short nap. Headed out shortly for a night bus tour of Rome, pick up some groceries and dinner- will be a short day but tired from flight. Apartment is in fantastic location- Palazzo Barberini across the street and we can see the Vatican in the distance from our balcony. Opened up all the windows, turned on some Pavarotti on the CD player --maks you eally feel like you're in Roma. More later!
